Ion Jalea Museum- Constanta/Romania

Ion Jalea is a great Romanian sculptor, born in Dobrogea(Constanta zone) member of the Romanian Academy, with an artistic activity of more that 7 decades. He took part in the First World War, where he lost a hand and he had to sculpt for the rest of his life with one hand.

In 1968 he donated to Constanta city, a number of 108 works of art, presently representing the sculpture collection organized by the museum.
