Iran’s foreign ministry has strongly condemned Saudi Arabia’s recent air raid on a hospital in Yemen belonging to the medical aid group Medecins Sans Frontieres or Doctors Without Borders.
According to IRIB, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said Saudi Arabia is bent on fully destroying Yemen with its relentless airstrikes.
She added that Riyadh and other countries involved in the invasion have pushed Yemen to the edge of a humanitarian catastrophe and they try to block the few remaining pathways for delivering aid to the Yemeni people.
Afkham further noted that the UN Security Council’s weak response over the incident will embolden ‘the invaders’ to commit more crimes against the Yemenis.
