Iranian Government Spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht announced that encouraging news are underway about the ongoing fight against the terrorist groups in the region, specially about Iran's effective role in this regard.
Nobakht told reporters in a press conference in Tehran on Tuesday "You will hear promising news about the campaign against terrorism in the region and Iran's effective role in the future".
Yet, he rejected western media allegations that Tehran has sent combat troops to Iraq or Syria, reiterating that Iran is now playing a counseling role in Syria.
