Japanese Yellow Hornets

I took this picture during my stay in Japan. I got curious with this kind of species, so I did a few research about it. The scientific name is Vespa simillima Xanthoptera, which is a common species in the Eastern Hemisphere.  The yellow hornets are aggressive because of its great swarm scale. They are small, thus they become a prey to the bigger hornets. The yellow hornets only attacks when their chance comes as they outnumber their giant enemy, which attacks alone.

Although the Japanese yellow hornets is much smaller than the Japanese giant hornets, they can be dangerous to humans because they will attack people in greater numbers.
