Kayla Wins 2nd Judo Gold!

Posted on at

New York Athletic Clubs own sensation Kayla Harrison smashed through all her opponents at the Rio Olympic Games. She became Americas only 2-time gold medalist in the sport of Judo. According to Bouncer Chronicles she won all 4 of her matches by Ippon, a maximum score, bout-ending maneuver.

In the finals she defeated Audrey Tcheumeo of France, the worlds 2nd ranked Judoka via armbar with 6 seconds left in the match. At that time Kayla was ahead of the match by only a small advantage. After her victory she said "My judo legacy is fulfilled, and I'm happy. I'm happy with my career. Now it's time to go and continue to add to the legacy off the mat and try and change the world!"
