King Henry the 8th

The king of England from the year of 1509 was King Henry the 8th.  King Henry was born in the year 1491 to King Henry the VII and Elizabeth of York. He was the second monarch of the house of Tudor. Which he become by succeeding his father Henry VII. He was the lord and then later become the king of Ireland.  He was a attractive man with a charismatic personality. He was very well educated and also a poet, an author and composer. He rules the kingdom with a vicious power. The public image of the king was of a person full of ego, lust, and harshness. 

The total marriages which were done by King Henry the 8th  were six in number. These marriages were done just for a single motive and that was to get a male hire for the kingdom who can rule after him. His first wife was the wife of his dead brother Prince Arthur, whose name was Catherine of Aragon, who was annulled. His second wife was Anne Boleyn who was divorced and then beheaded. Jane Seymour was the third wife of the king who died while giving birth. His fourth wife was Anne of Cleves who was also annulled. His fifth wife was Catherine Howard who was beheaded. His last and 6th wife was Catherine Parr who lived. The king had 2 daughters and 1 son. The entire remaining wife’s of the king either produced dead babies or the babies died after few months of birth.  The king married six times just to have a healthy baby boy. All the queens were aware of the consequences if they failed to give birth to a boy. 

In the entire life term of his reign King Henry the 8th lived a life of supremacy. He was one of the most cruel and ferocious kings of all.  But as a poet and author he was liked by his queens. Till the time of his death the king had made England a very reputed and strongest kingdom of all.
