Last Call for Soho's Milady's

Posted on at

Bouncer Chronicles reports that the famous Soho Milady's dive bar closed its doors for good this past Monday evening. The bar, which was located at the corner of Thompson and Prince Streets for over 70 years, was no longer able to survive in the gentrified Manhattan neighborhood.

Frank Genovese told the New York Times he could no longer sustain Milady’s prices or burgers and a beer for 5 dollars. After word spread of the closing last weekend local blue collar people packed the place for one last night of cheap beer and shots.
