Once the weather cools off it is time to take stock of your swimming pool and see what needs doing to keep it in good condition. While many people place a cover over the water in the pool and leave it till next summer, if the bottom or sides need repainting, the water will need to be drained out. If it is left, the problem will only become worse over time, so the best time to tackle it is now. So get that metal primer or whatever else is needed and get to it.



Autumn in most places means that you get warm days without the temperature going to either extreme and often, the weather is fine for several weeks at a time. This provides the best opportunity to do any pool repairs that are needed to keep your pool in top shape, ready for all the summer fun that is in the future.
