My beloved confused Motherland

We are a nation of 200 million strong confused people and we are under dbts of about 66 billion US dollars from external organisations like the world bank and the international monetary fund. This means that every citizen of Pakistan irrespective of age or health status is under debts of about 330 US dollars (34,500 pakistani rupees) to be paid in the next 3 to 4 years.

During the last two years of my experience of living in Pakistan i have realised that almost every pakistani citizen is confused regarding hi or her role in nation building and he or she is actively and deliberately participating in increasing the debts of Pakistan by indulging in corruption in every possible way.

The rate of corruption has increased by folds in the past 8 years, today it stands at 500 million dollars a day. This means that Pakistan is losing 500 million dollars  to corruption every single day and if we stop this flow of money Pakistan will be able to pay its debts within a period of 6 months.

Pakistan has unimaginable degree of potential as we are surviving as a developing nation with so much of corruption, but we are a misguided nation. Most of our citizens do not understand the reason of our existence as a nation and if we ask the youth of our country about the ideas of yesteryears leaders they speak of making new provinces or breaking down the nation all together, we are ethnically extremely divided.

Shale gas was discovered 4 years ago in reserves under our beloved land and forget about the millions of cubic metres of deposits of coal, marble and natural gas that is already being tapped out to feed this corrupt people. Geographically we are surrounded by enemies (like India) and those nations that we cannot trust (Iran, Afghanistan).

Our only good friend is China, a nation on the rise after the removal of economic sanctions on its head but they are a nation of businessmen who will not give us cash, they indulge in business instead.

The US dollar has reached 105 Pakistani rupees in a couple of years, our reserves are very low and we have no foreign investments due to the fear of terrorism. We take immense pride in calling ourselves a nuclear power but with no enough electricity and  an estimate of at least an 8 hour loadshedding everyday.

Coming to building our nuclear arms, we had started working on it in the beginning of the 70s in the  Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto era but we seriously started working on our electric power plants only a year ago and we expect to reduce the loadshedding by the end of 2017. so if we enter into a nuclear war anytime soon there is a good chance that we will not have the electricity to launch our nuclear weapons and we will have to depend on our best friends today the "Generators"; well that is just another story.

But i have hope and hope it is that we will see the light at the end of the  tunnel. After all we a nation of just 68 years and when compared to the US of A they were messed up in their civil wars when they we 70. This is the Pakistani way of comparison so imagine how much development we will make once we reach 250 plus  years or if we will ever reach to that ago, its you who will decide.
