I am a good knitter and can do finger weaving and plenty of other things. You would think to learn to crotchet would be simple. It is a skill I have never mastered.

I have been watching videos and trying all afternoon and have pulled apart probablt my hundreth attempt. The trouble is I have to learn by doing and I get so far with a video and then until I work it out in my hands things just do not make sense.

It was the same with knitting. I learnrd to knot not by being shown but working it out witn needles and wool.

I am going to see a friend tonight. Hopefully she will understand that she has to guide my hands to show me. It is silly to be this old and still not know how.
