Wood burning stove parts to fit your burner

by Cynthia Taylor

There is only one inevitable truth amongst all material things – and that is that at some stage or another, be it today, tomorrow or in 10 years time, it WILL break. And no matter how recently it was bought or how well it has been maintained or restored your wood burner is going to need some good old TLC sooner or later. There are assumedly plenty of people out there with the know how or even the common sense to repair your wood burner and as long as the availability of wood burning stove parts is not an issue your cast iron heater won’t be out of action for very long!

It is most incredible that the old stove manufacturers are still around today manufacturing these great quality stoves at a higher price with a slightly more modern design. These new stoves deserve their larger price tag, since 200 years later the stoves have an added feature of style. Perhaps it is the quality that adds most to the style?

Despite the added style and the sleeker lines of the newer models, the principle is still the same. And carrying the principle through as clever as it has been, has made wood burning stove parts easy to come by since they can easily be fitted to a wide variety of stoves with the same manufacturers badge burnt into it. There are of course more popular models as well as the fact that the parts can still be made to order, from the complexity of a bulky cast iron hinge to the fire resistant glass fitted to the doors. Each stove is well within its reach to be restored and used as it was meant to be.
