(Poem) Jailbreak

Posted on at

Young and bewildered, at times are reluctant.
More than sister and brother, much important.
We laughed, we ran, we were ignorant.
No limits, no boundaries, we were rampant.

The light dimmed down and lit up so fast.
Each learned ways unknown in the past.
Can we still see each other? Will this last?
Questions that bothered, filled with aghast.

The paper rolled with the elegant ribbon around it.
After being barred of vision, we're both astounded.
I can't say words I want to say, but not foul-mouthed.
You look vigilant, I told her, like you're the most wanted.

We played the heat of the night, illicit serendipity.
Without any glimpse or resemblance of being guilty.
It was then that I realized her enmity.
Dominated, forced, endowed temporarily.

Console. Sympathize. There's nothing I can do.
Two wrongs — to her and in the ring, name of who.
Void any good intention, others will still have their view.
Like using unused spoon in a meal leaving rice as residue.

They say true love's path is never that easy.
Not as much as freedom in democracy.
As long as mind is susceptible to any fallacy,
Be vigilant, considering any probability.
