A puppy was saved from the core area of the blast site in Tianjin on Sunday, over 72 hours after the deadly warehouse explosions hit the northern Chinese city on Wednesday night.

The dog, which survived miraculously unscathed, was found by a nuclear and bio-chemical rescue team from Beijing, and has since followed around the soldiers who saved it, according to CRI Online. The soldiers have named it “Shenghua”, which means “biochemistry” in Chinese.
