Hello Film Annex'ers

I have just finished working on and releasing a Web Series I collaborated on with my good friend Daniel Quirke. Written by and Starring Dan itself (I directed and shot it) it is a look at the life of Rupert, an awkward boy at an awkward stage in his life (Kind of an alter ego of dan himself, many of the scenes in the series are based on real events). 

The Series is 6 episodes long with the 1st episode being split into 2 separate parts. 

I am so thrilled with what we managed to achieve with this series. Its by no mean's my most polished piece of work so far simply due to the nature of the shoot, but I think it has a really nice, comical charm to it which I believe is far more important.

The reception we have had from this so far has been so fantastic to witness, people really seem to be getting involved with the series. Knowing that there were people out there waiting for each weeks release was just a fantastic feeling.

As the Series is on youtube, and is not my own personal project I unfortunately have not been able to post it on Film Annex for you to see, but each of these images with a title like "Quirkology Episode 1 part 1" should take you to the episode on youtube if you click on them.

I hope to do a longer blog post at some point soon going over the production in more detail, how it came about, how we shot it etc.
