RAISING RAJUNGAN

Talking about the aquatic animals that have clamped in both hands, certainly friends immediately imagine a crab. Apparently there are marine animals similar to crabs, but has a different habitat. Name of the marine animal is Rajungan or often called Portunus pelagicus. Crab is a crustacean animals that live in marine and brackish waters.

At the age of adolescence, a new rajungan can be released into ponds for the cultivation of augmentation phase. This Rajungan takes three months to grow into mature and ready for harvest.
