Red Bull Skydive Team Flies Over Smoking Mt Bromo Volcano!

Posted on at

No we are not kidding, the Red Bull Skydive team have definitely done it again! What's crazier than base jumping over active volcanic mountains you may ask? Not that much to be honest.

In this outrageous stunt, the Red Bull Skydive team are breaking daredevil boundaries alongside the English language for creating new definitions for smoke jumping.

Watch as they leap out of a helicopter as high as 13,000 feet and swoop down over and above Indonesia's scenic views of Mt Bromo.
See the action unfold in the video clip below!

"You can't feel the heat," said Marco Waltenspiel, one of the pilots, "but you can smell the sulphur. The volcano is like a smoking pyramid. It was the first time I'd seen one."

As you can see the team even equipped themselves with the beautiful Indonesian flag for good measure as they swoosh over unimaginable heights that look into beautiful mountain valleys of Bromo.

Waltenspiel and the other Red Bull Skydivers — Goerg LettnerDominic Roithmair and Marco Fürst, who combined have performed more than 16,000 spectacular jumps — leapt out of a helicopter at over 13,100 feet for the scenic, stunning flight down to the volcano, which sits 7,200 feet above ground level. -  Red Bull

"To fly over an active volcano was an amazing privilege," said Waltenspiel.
