UFC star Ronda Rousey will host NBC's Saturday Night Live this weekend. Rousey will be the first mixed martial art's competitor to serve as host. Other athletes that have hosted the popular comedy show include Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter, Lebron James, Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Peyton Manning and George Forman. 

According to Bouncer Chronicles, Rousey is a former Olympian in Judo after taking 3rd place in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Rousey fights in the UFC out of Southern California. She recorded 6 consecutive title defenses before the first loss of her career, a second round TKO to Holly Holm at UFC 193 on November 14. Rousey has a growing list of mainstream movies and television appearances that include The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Entourage. She made appearances on WWE's Wrestlemania and ESPN's Sportscenter. Her upcoming projects include roles in "Road House Remake" and "Mile 22."
