Septemberism Test Shoot

Posted on at

Today I went with my 1st AD, Steph, and a good friend from my course named Justine to do a test shoot for my film.

Steph acted the part of Mark and Justine acted the part of Beth. It was a really good shoot. It ran smoothly, and we had a good time while doing filming, but most of all it helped me really visualise my film. The main thing i have learnt from todays test shoot was the way in which I want the lines delivered; such as the way in which i want pauses to be used in my film.

As well as the test shoot being helpful for my script it was also helpful for my locations as some locations had to be changed due to realistic events e.g. the fact its autumn and it is going to rain during my shoot so out door scenes have been compromised.

A couple of test shots from today.

So tonight now consists of changing my script round a little, and then finishing the rest of my production folder ready for our green light meeting next tuesday.
