His full name Sahibzada Shahid khan Afridi,born in 1 march 1980 Fata khyber Agency near Kohat.He played first international match against Kenya on 2 October 1996.He made his first world fastest centurey in his second match against Srilanka.He made his century used just 37 deliveries.He also had distination of more no of sixes in InternationalCricket.Afidi played 27 test,370 ODI and 70 Twent20 International.            

Shahid Afridi is famous for his agressive batting style,also known as BOOM BOOM.Moreover, out of the seven fastest ODI centuriesof all time, Afridi has produced three of them.  He has an ODI strike rate of 114.53 runs per 100 balls, the third highest in the game's history. This attitude has been transferred to Test cricket as well, with Afridi scoring at a relatively high strike rate of 86.97. He has an approach to batting that can change the tempo of a game and inspire the mood of an audience

 

 

On 25 May 2010, Afridi was appointed captain of the national team in all three formats,PCB declared Shahid Afridi as Pakistan's captain for the 2011.where he get his team to the semi final and top wicket taker of the world cup.
