This is the second largest bird in the world and the largest in Guinea. Weighing 85 kg and 5.1 feet it was the second largest in the region after the extinction of the Arabian Ostrich. It is placed at Vulnerable in conservation status. This bird is lethal as it digests fruits which are poison to other birds and animals and can kill humans if provoked.
