A stone caldron placed in the park  ( Cultural Asset designated by the prefecture ) is commonly called  " YUGAMA YAKUSHI "  (  healing caldron ) . This stone caldron is in the DOGO KOUEN PARK  in Matsuyama City .

 

" NAMU AMIDABUTSU " ( May his soul rest in peace ) on the caldron was believed to be written by Ippen priest , requested by Michinao .

The medicinal benefits of the hot spa were also inscribed by the order of Michinao , both of which made this Caldron important cultural property in this area .
