STORAGE DEVICES:-

First of all what are storage devices?

In the language of computers the storage devices are those which can store data for a longer period of time permanently until the user by his will not trashes them.

Normally the storage devices are cd’s, dvd’s, pen drives, hard disks, floppy disks, etc. here we can store soft copy of the data but the hard copy of data can be stored in devices like pages.

What are cd’s and dvd’s?

They look similar but storing capacity is different in both the system of storage devices.

The maximum storage capacity of a cd is 700 mb but whereas the storage capacity of dvd’s is until 500gb to 1 tb.

When we come to hard disks, What are hard disks?

This is like the brain of the computer where all the data of soft copy is being stored until and unless user deletes the data the data is stored permanently.

Next we come to pen drives, What are pen drives?

Pen drives are the smaller parts of storing data whose capacity is more or less equal to a hard disk. These can be kept in your pocket and these are kind a small in size, etc.

By seeing these results one can tell that day by day the size of the storage devices is decreasing and the storage capacity is increasing.
