What is Superstition? It is just a belief, which has no bases, no factual reason. It is kind of irrational fear; it is a mysterious story behind every belief. It is somehow related to religion. Superstitions only increase the fear of the people towards something. Astrology, Animals- If a black cat crosses your road, it brings bad luck, to see a peacock before starting a journey it is considered fortunate. In India, on the day of Nag Panchami, people capture snacks and forcefully they make him drink the milk. However, the fact is snacks cannot drink milk and as a result, thousands of snacks die annually.  For ghosts and supernatural beings, like- Peepul trees are the hometown for all the ghosts. Banyan trees are also believed to be inhabited by malevolent spirits. Even spirit belongings are also a numerous case in India. There are many common superstitions found all over. As if Friday the thirteenth is an unlucky day, a rabbit’s foot brings good luck, for good luck wear new clothes on Easter, When dog howls, death is near, washing car brings rain and many more. There is big list of superstitions. In not only India, but all around the world this superstition occurs. Behind this, there is a psychological reason. It is merely blindly established belief.
