Surviving the Great Buzz Famine of 2015

Now, you new members, you are starting off low... so the only place you can go is up.  There are a great number of you at once right now, and I hope you will work hard.

Now, for members who have been here a bit... for me it only two months... but still I seem to be experiencing something unusual in the world of Bitlanders experience.  There have always been unexplained ups and downs in earnings here, but we seem to be in just a massive downswing.  I've theorized that we are all getting paid out of a single pot, and the number of new members causes the share for each to decreased.  Truth is... I don't know.... I have my own theories, so do other people.

I've noticed that we have a member who went over 200 buzz again, which calls for a down tick, but nothing like the sustained decrease to buzz scores that we now seem to be having.  I know it is not just me because, with my buzz scores and earnings plunging for days on end, and my online behavior virtually the same, my rank has held more or less steady.

In short, there seems to be kind of a buzz famine.  There does not seem to be enough buzz to go around.  People are suffering from not enough buzz.  One member, a woman that wanted to lose weight... has already lost 15 kilograms because of it... so she is kind of happy about it.  Nobody else is.

You can see the depressed malaise is once cheerful buzz cafes, buzz starved students, with blood shot eyes, and hair uncombed for days.  They don't be able to talk any more.  If you ask them a question... all they seem to be able to say in response is... "where is the buzz man?"  "I need my buzz".

Some elderly men, secretly buzz junkies... now unable to find satisfaction are now going to libraries to guiltily read books.  They lead lives of quiet despair.  It used to be easy to hide behind the stacks.  That is why they called them stacks... because there were piles of books.  Now the stacks consist of a couple hundred books.  Each old curmudgeon intends to hid behind the books there... to bury himself in rare hard copies of ancient wisdom... but does not disclose to the others the sheer lonliness of buzzless life.  They don't tell each other the problem... somehow they don't realize that each of the others is suffering the same calamity.

The trials at a bad time like this can be many, but one in particular came into mind.  One of these old gentleman... a fellow by the name of Casem... happened to meet a girl at the library.  Although he was 62 and she was 28, she was inexplicably interested in him. Surprized by his own boldness he asked her if she wanted to get tea and biscuits at a local diner... and soon they were sitting comfortably sharing nice stories and loving glances (if you know what I mean).  It wasn't long until they were back at his place, where they shared even more interesting stories, and even more loving glances (once again, I think you know what I mean... I don't have to spell it out).

Next day, he felt exhuberant.... but by afternoon the joy began to fade.  Sure, this was nice now, but what about when the buzz famine ended?  Wouldn't he be compelled to spend more time at the computer again, and would this not deprive him of enough time for her?  Would she not suffer a broken heart--- pain at the depth of her soul in proportion to the amount of time they had spent in amorous bonding?  As much as he did not want to break things off, but he could not in good conscience continue knowing that the Bitlanders Buzz would eventually pull him back... and he would have no sake but to forsake matters of the heart for his long fix.

So, he broke it off with this girl, but the buzz keeps falling....

I think maybe he should have chosen the girl.
