Taloot Wharf

Posted on at

I can't get enough of the beautiful Taloot wharf which is situated in the middle of the sea with a wooden bridge connecting the land area and the floating restaurant. It may not that obvious but in person, the bridge goes a long way and it may feel scary walking in it because the wood used in this bridge is something which looks like it is going to fall off one by one but it is actually strong and so you don't have to worry stepping on it. But of course you'll have to watch your steps.

So this wharf is a simple port for barge ships going and come to and forth Cebu and Bohol. The place isn't that too crowded yet though but because it is a port, most people who had gone here have also recommended it to their friends. It has become a tourist area as well for locals as well as the foreigners at the same time.

Now in that floating restaurant at the end of the wooden bridge gives you the option to go fishing and then ask the staff to cook whatever you caught. There are lots of fishes here because the wharf is surrounded by mangroves and mangroves serve as houses for the fishes as well.

When we went there with my husband, it was super early and the restaurant was still closed so we just decided to take photographs instead.
