The bike definitely has an edge, no doubt. But of course you prefer the safety and comfort of a car, right? Well, that’s when the C-1 Self Balancing Motorcycle created by Lit Motors enters the picture. It surely is a breakthrough in the automotive industry.

 

 

 

It is a proposed fully-enclosed, two passenger, electric motorbike that uses electronically controlled gyroscopic stabilizer to keep the bike upright even when stopped or when struck from the side in an accident. This means, it gives you the advantages of a bike while also giving you the comfort, convenience and safety of a car.

 

 

 

The best thing is, you get to enjoy all these benefits without fossil fuels. Good for the environment as well, isn’t it?

According to the designer, Daniel Kim, the idea came to him after he had traveled around the world, seeing the transportation challenges and innovations in developing countries. He met thousands of people and saw how cultures function and how people got around. That’s what informed him. And who knows, he might have been inspired by our local rickshaws.
