The Church Buried Halfway in Lava Rock

Visiting the state of Mexico you would sure like to visit the buried church. This s the only building that is still remaining of the San Juan Parangaricutiro, in the 90’s the volcano that erupted consumed two of the villages in ash and lava. The rock of the church melted slowly, it took a year for the lava to reach and melt it. The volcanic eruption was for almost eight years but the church still stood at it place. You will amazed and surprised to know that the lava left the alter and the tower untouched. There was luck that none of the resident died in the volcano eruption as they were evacuated before it could reach the town. Till today still the church stands still half buried and half on top in the solidified lava rock. This is the only thing that you will notice in the remains of this village. The church has become an annual pilgrimage site for many people as many people from worldwide come to visit this church as they have thought that the god saved the church from the volcano as the alter and the statue still stand by. This place is worth visiting to have a look at some of the miracles from the lord almighty.
