The Female Spirit of Isshin Ryu is called Maegami.  "Gami" is a translation of the Japanese word "Kami" which means spirit.  The Female Spirit is in dark turbulent waters.  There are many bad things in the past, and there are alot of problems that are beneath the surface.  She rises above the waters.  She has worked hard; she has learned her discipline.  The dragon is a Chinese symbol of good fortune and strength.  She does not stand alone.  She is a master, and she has the power and the wisdom of her teachers behind her.
