It was Deepavali break. The roads were clear, the weather was fine, my hair felt great and the company I had that afternoon - fantastic.

I don't know about you, but I love restaurants with high glass ceilings. Maybe because I feel less confined in bigger spaces or perhaps its my penchant towards beaming natural lighting. Photography enthusiast - you would know what I mean. Pick your seats wisely however, you wouldn't want to be basking under mid-afternoon sun throughout your meal.

Tip: If you're up for some breakfast and brunch goodies, go to Proof Cafe & Sky Lounge upstairs. Head to The Forum, downstairs, if you're up for a full on dinner treat. Under the same management, both restaurants deck extensive Melbourne inspired menus.

And as for me - too late to swap. I was only told otherwise after placing my order. Going against my advise, today, I will be having lunch at The Forum instead.
