So the past few weeks have been filled with a lot of shoots. In total i have been on 14 shoots, with another 4 or 5 coming up in the next few weeks, this is why I haven't been on here for a while. 

I Have been on some amazing shoots with all kinds of film ideas from loneliness to sex positive feminism. I have worked on a wide range of roles also including assistant directing, sound recordist, and camera assistant.

One of my favourite shoots to date, was a short film about a young girl coming to terms with her younger brothers diagnosis of cancer. On the shoot I was camera assisting and learnt so much about camera's, job roles, story development, and so much more. The film itself is really powerful, with some intense acting from such young actors. I really cannot wait to see the film, and I cannot promote this film enough, a must watch short film.

As well as films, this week i have been doing lighting on a music video for a girl performing a piano medley. We started shooting on Thursday in a recording studio, and we got some gorgeous shots of her playing the piano. Today we finished the second part of the video out in Cannock Chase. The weather was lovely, and we got some incredible shots. We had to drag a piano out into the woods but it was all worth it. I am really looking forward to seeing the edit on this music video, so watch this space for that. I will try and get up some stills as soon as i get my hands on some. 

Tomorrow I am Camera assisting on two films in one day, with the amazing Mark Kuczewski, working on films directed by Andy Salamonczyk and Anderson West. This will be an amazing experience, and i cannot wait to be part of both of these films.
