The Gunfight at the O.K. Corral

On October 26th 1881, the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral took place in Tombstone, Arizona Territory.

This is probably the most famous gunfight in the history of the American Old west, but it only lasted 30 seconds. It also did not actually take place at the O.K. Corral, or even next to it, but instead nest to Fly's Photographic Studio. Which admittedly wouldn't have the same ring to it.

The fight took place between the outlaws Billy Clairborne, Ike and Billy Clanton and Tom and Frank McLaury and the lawmen, Town Marshal Virgil Earp, Assistant Town Marshal Morgan Earp, temporary lawman Wyatt Earp (the most famous of the Earp brothers) and temporary marshal Doc Holliday. Billy Clanton and the McLaurys were killed.
