The Warehouse Capacity Issue in Farm Satoshi

The warehouse capacity issue in Farm Satoshi  is that, even if you buy animals, and have the money for feed, the warehouse sets a limit on how much feed you can actually buy.  This is a critical factor because your animals consume feed at certain rates, and when the feed for an animal runs out, it stops producing the goods, that you sell for Satoshi.  As such, the warehouse yield limits establish the amount of time you can go without signing back into the game before you have to sign in again to buy feed to keep your animals producing.

The game would not be much good to you, for earning over a long period of time, if you had to keep signing in every couple hours.  The start of the game consists, more than anything else, of staying with it, given very short feed periods, for long enough, to get those feed periods to a more manageable pattern.  If you stay with the game, before long you have enough warehouse space than you can choose to sign in only once a day, although you can increase income by signing in more often.

There are four methods to solve the problem of warehouse space:

a)  Buy more warehouse space.  Warehouse space is the most expensive input in the game, and costs more than animals or feed.  It is important, therefore, to understand that the game is not so much about efficient use of animals or feed, as it is about efficient use of warehouse space.\

b)  Level Up.   Leveling up gives you access to buy larger amounts of warehouse.  Not only that, but the income increase will make it easier purchase warehouse increases that you passed over at previous levels.

c)  Select animals of different types.  Because there are four different types of feed warehouses, buy animals to consume from each type of warehouse.  If you want to sign in more often, you can focus on the more profitable animals (sheep).  There is another hitch.  If you want to level up, as suggested in paragraph 1, you will want to buy the animals listed for leveling up, which typically lead you towards fewer types of animals.  In the beginning, you will want to just level up as fast as possible, so this does not pose much of a dilemna.

d)  At higher levels, you can intentionally buy animals which are less profitable so as to decrease your rate of consumption.  This will decrease your up front cost of buying the animals.

If you do not leave enough feed for the animals, they will not die ayutomatically, but they have a finite lifespan, a part of which will not count towards your yield.  Because your profit margin is based on the amount of feed consumed, this will not create a cash flow problem, but may force you to purchase less profitable animals on the next round.

The animals at the higher levels have lifespans of 24-29 animals, so the goal is to have an option in which your feed will last for that long, so you can go to work, or visit family members, and not have to sign on.  On the other hand, you will still have the option to sign on more frequently, and increase profit by the purchase of better animals.

If you decide to play the game, don't forget to sign in using my referral link at the top of this article, as the game lets me pay you 5000 Satoshis went you reach level 5, which I will certainly do.
