If worldly sins, popular sense of debauchery and licentious abandon were to bring about earthquakes and floods then the likes of Thailand, UAE, Las Vegas, Scandinivia and vast swathes former Soviet territory would have long been snuffed out from the face of the earth. Problems of geology cannot be addressed or resolved through theology. The greatest "sin" a muslim can commit is to lead a life of ignorance, inaction and superstition. In the holy Quran the Almighty describes his favotite people as those who constantly contemplate the workings of the universe. To attribute a concrete tragedy to intangible causes is stupid to say the least. About time we grew up and evolved as a nation. Superstition and illogic have no place in our glorious religion.
