An embed is when you place a code in your text post which the reader can click in order to go to different page. Bitlanders represents that it calculates the influence score based on, among other factors, the embeds in the posts of other members which point to your posts.  You cannot embed in other members posts... so you have to motivate other members to do that for you.  There are two main methods for doing this:

1)  The instrinsic value method.  For this method, you post compelling material, which another person wants to post to improve the quality of their own posts, or

2) The reciprocal exchange method.  For this method, you embed in your posts for other members who, in return, embed your post in theirs.  This is kind of like the "buzz trade", only involves a more complex item for trade.  It is therefore more difficult to coordinate a trade.
