Trapped at the Trap Door!

My sidekick, Bruce Walker and our model for the shoot, Marzenia, at the Trap Door Boutique.

Like most redblooded women, I love funky clothes. Over the past two years I have spent a lot of time at a crazy little store in a suddenly trendy part of Toronto, called the Junction area of Toronto.  The store is called The Trap Door Boutique.

The clothes are mostly designed and made locally, which makes it unique when all you ever see is "Made in China".

The store owner is Gabrielle Neveu.  An interesting lady who is an artist, designs and makes jewellery, and runs this store. Gabrielle is shy but agreed to do an interview with me.  Gabrielle carries a lot of cool things:  funky shoes and leggings, tights, tees with her unique designs imprinted, dresses, skirts, tops and jewellery, even gorgeous ties for men.
