Our country is special for so many reasons.

• India has mountains, rivers, beaches, plateaus, plains, and desert. We have a variety of landforms.
• We have so many seasons- winter, summer, rainy, spring, and autumn.

• Our country gives us rights and freedom. We can pray and follow any religion. We are free to read, meet and talk. We can visit any place in our country.

• Our government takes care of us. The adults pay taxes. Government builds roads, buildings, schools, colleges, post offices and other facilities for us.
• A lot of people from the government help us, e.g. doctors, police officers, fire-fighters, postal workers, water works, electricity department.
