It’s 4:45 am. You wake up, shower, get ready, eat breakfast, and head off to work. Most of you put on shoes and clothes. Some out there put on a badge and gun. They also put on a vest because they know putting the other two on makes them a target.
You kiss your children and significant other goodbye to return later that evening. They kiss their family goodbye knowing it could be there last.
They do this same routine every day. While you are at work in an office somewhere, they are the ones ensuring your office can open and operate in our society. They stand between the wolf and the sheep. They keep the peace when others try to end it.
So next time you say something bad think twice!
