In this video, Maura O'Neil, USAID Chief Innovation Officer, explains that entrepreneurship is as essential as innovation and education in the development of the culture of societies and countries. She believes that for entrepreneurs need an ecosystem of advisors, people who give them a capital and provide them with the opening markets. Women in particular face a set of unique barriers to get into this system. She adds that the problems they face in the early stages of setting up a business shouldn't discourage them and that failure is part of the discovery.
