DESCRIPTION

So finally, I got to talk to Logan Lerman for “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.” When I went to Toronto for TIFF, Lerman was in the middle of working on “Noah” and he was not able to attend the press junket for the movie. Yeah, the wallflower himself was missing! Well, thank the film gods, and Summit, he was made available to talk to press about his fantastic film!
In the movie, Lerman stars as Charlie, a brooding freshman who’s counting down the days of finishing high school – 1,385 days to be exact! He’s dreading going to school, that is until, he meets Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller) who shows him some perks of being a wallflower. “Perks” is one of the best coming-of-age movies I’ve ever seen!
In this interview, we talked about:

His interest in making “Perks of Being a Wallflower”
Working with writer/author/director Stephen Chbosky
How he got into his character of Charlie
He teases us about “Noah!” He was shooting the night before the interview! And lots and lots of extras!
And since I’m from Palm Springs – it’s nice to know that Logan’s family has a house here too!

Have fun!
