DESCRIPTION

During the production of one of the NFB Hothouse films from 2012, programmer and filmmaker Wen Zhang recorded footage of different styles of dance using the Kinect. The pure data extracted from the Kinect enabled him to render movement in a variety of ways applying effects as he saw fit. He asked me to throw down some moves for which he rendered in this Matrix-esque kind of output. The footage didn't make it into his film, but I've made my own edit here. Music from Act Like You Know.
