Fereshteh Forough is from Afghanistan. She moved to New York City in November 2012. In the new series for the Afghan Perspective, she starts talking about her life, experiences, fun time and stories. In this video, she speaks about her experience meeting different people and discussing with them about Afghanistan and their ideas about it. The video was shot on Roosevelt Island, a narrow island in the East River in New York City that lies between the island of Manhattan and Queens on its East.
