Zabiuallah Fahim Miakhil was born on August 9, 1989 in the province of Kunduz, Afghanistan. After passing the Concour exam in 2007 he got accepted to the Faculty of Fine Arts at Kabul University and started his study in the field of Film Direction at the Department of Cinema. In his first year of studies in the World of Cinema and Film Direction he started his first debut as an actor in a negative role in the first season of the T.V. Series “Behesht-e-Khamosh”/”Silent Heaven” in Tolo TV. In 2010 Zabiullah was in the third year of university when the Second Season of “Silent Heaven” started and from there he found his way to the hearts of Afghan people. In 2010 he made a short film called “Dood wa Kodak”/”Smoke and Child” with his group called Climax Cinematic Group for a University project. In his final year of University in 2011 he made another short film called “Taam Powder”/”The Flavor of Drugs” for his exam which won the first place among the other short films in his class. After seeing his film “The Flavor of Drugs his director Roya Sadat and Professor/Screenplay Writer Aziz Deldaar offered Zabiullah to become the assistant director in the TV Series of “Silent Heaven”.
In the third season he had a role in the TV series and was the assisting the Director as well. In between studies and after university he worked with several other production companies such as Cetena Goup, Roya Film and Sanae Fim Production. Zabiullah worked as an assistant director in the Film called “The Burning Days of Torkham” with Aziz Dildaar and “The Icy sun” with Ramin Mohammadi. Recently he has been working on a documentary film about the Afghan Commando in Kabul with Documentary film Maker Alka Sadat. In the nearest future he hopes to make more interesting cinematic films that captures the attention of the audience and changes the world of cinema in a positive way.
