I have a lot of faith in Bitcoin and trust my money being backed by math opposed to FIAT currency. There are a few reasons for this, one of them is i see the rising trend of cryptocurrency's and there are more people accepting Bitcoin's all over the world now so i have trust for the protocol. However although Bitcoin has opened the doors to cryptocurrency and is the main coin i believe it still has flaws and plenty of competition. A coin that fixes some of Bitcoin's flaws is XRP which is part of the ripple protocol. XRP is faster then Bitcoin but is pre-mined. Bitcoin can be stored on the ripple network as well as ANY other currency. ripple as a protocol can assist Bitcoin and i believe Bitcoin will thrive on the Ripple network in the future as well as many other currencies which can be converted into one another with XRP.
