Film Annex has put a new policy plan into action regarding the presentation of films and filmmakers on its platform.

From now on, Film Annex will feature FIVE films in its “Films” section: www.filmannex.com/search/download_movies and ONE filmmaker in its “Community” section: www.filmannex.com/search/filmmakers.

FEATURED FILMS:

The FIVE featured films will get the most attention on filmannex.com due to their presence in the “Films” section, while other films will still be easily located by search.

The featured films will be chosen by Film Annex’s programming team, but requests by filmmakers for having their films featured will also be welcome.

Every week, ONE film from the featured films list will be replaced by a NEW film. The featured films will usually be full-length, however brand new films can also be featured for promotion, if the filmmaker makes content such as b-rolls, clips, and interviews available.


FEATURED FILMMAKER:

ONE featured filmmaker will get the most exposure on filmannex.com due to his/her presence in the “Community” section, while other filmmakers will still be easily located by search.

The featured filmmaker will be interviewed by Film Annex, and the interview will be published on filmannex.com as well as other associate networks. This way, the filmmaker will be exposed to multiple audiences and media outlets.

The featured filmmaker will be chosen by Film Annex’s programming team, but requests by filmmakers to be featured on Film Annex will also be welcome.


With this policy change, Film Annex intends to give special attention and exposure to a limited number of films and filmmakers in a specific time frame, thus making online publicity and exposure work best for those who choose to present their work on filmannex.com.
