Khloe Kardashian Continues Her Tour of Greatness

Khloe Kardashian is honestly just giving us so many reasons to love her lately, and it's overwhelming, it really is. We hate thatLamar Odom's health crisis was the thing that made her supreme strength and grace so evident to us, but now that we've seen it, we're pretty much on this girl's team for life. And that's why it hurts us so much to hear her say things like this:

"Growing up, I was always chubby. My girlfriends were always running around in two-pieces and I never felt comfortable to do that. I knew I didn't look like my sisters and I didn't have those shapes, but I didn't think that was wrong. I had parents who were incredibly loving and nurturing and always made me feel beautiful so I never really questioned that. Right before the show started, I thought I was in good shape, but I guess not good enough for Hollywood's eyes. I didn't realize I was the 'fat' sister until I went on TV and the media started saying that about me. Being compared to my sisters was something I was used to. But being compared in such a harsh way … I just thought, 'Okay, that's my role.' So I started saying it before people. I was like, 'Okay, I'm the fat, funny sister. Who cares?' I almost let that take ownership of me. I wasn't fat; I wasn't obese. But I would let society make me believe that I was ... I don't believe in numbers. I don't believe in one size fits all. As long as I can lay my head down at night, that's all that matters. It's not about fitting someone else's standards."

Really, we'd hate this story any time, not just now that Khloe has achieved everlasting glory. She's right that she doesn't look like her sisters in that she's much taller and has a different build, but she was obviously never anything close to being as huge as people so rudely claimed she was. The part about how she was called "the fat sister" when her family started their television show? Yeah, that photo up there was taken during the exact same time period. There is no universe in which Khloe could have been considered overweight or, and it seriously pains us to even say this, "the fat one."

But as we know so well now, Khloe has an impressive habit of rising above. She rose above that, she rose above her heartbreaking issues with Lamar, and soon she will rise up above us all, a beacon of light and an example of how life should be lived. She's that wonderful.
