Story of a common men.

"There comes a moment in every person’s life when you have to draw a very thin line between your hobby, profession or passion. Very lucky are those who get all these in one package and pursue their passion as profession and work like it’s their hobby. Calligraphy has always been my passion until I realized that it’s not enough anymore. People who used to admire and applaud calligraphy drasticallydecreased in last few decades. There were times when my art was published and displayed on the walls of PTV headquarters. I have also won many prizes because of my unique and eye-catching ideas. That was when I had no fear of taking risks but after my marriage and birth of my child, I realized that my actions were not only limited to myself but they also could affect the lives of my family. I believe in destiny. I believe everything that happens, happens because of a reason. It took sometime but I understood that I have to pursue my passion as well as run a business through which I can financially support my family. I established this hotel long time ago and with the blessing of Allah I am able enough to be good father. Being a good father does not mean anything if you are not good to yourself. So I still do calligraphy when I have time and try to fulfill my passion."

- Were you not scared when you gave up on your passion and moving to an entirely different profession?

"My son was scared of dark and I realized it when I asked him to go to the roof in the middle of the night to bring me something. He answered that he can’t go because he fears the dark. I told him that fear is nothing but a name of the feeling inside your heart. You may not be able to isolate or end this feeling but you can fight your fear. In order to combat your fear, you only have to develop the opposite feeling and this opposite feeling will dominate your fear. After listening to me, he went upstairs and brought me what I asked for.
This is exactly what I told myself!"
