Folding@Home is a program by Stanford University that needs your help! This program helps Stanford scientists analyze folding proteins - the process that causes Alzheimer's, Huntington's, all types of Cancer and many other diseases that we do not have a cure for. Watch this short video introduction by Steven Carpenter with QLF Incorporated (Quantum Leap Foundation) and Bitconfused.org as he explains how Folding@Home is a perfect example of digital philanthropy. You'll be able to get certificates from Stanford University for participating, and you may even be the one who finds the cure!
