Kevin McGrail is an entrepreneur specializing in middle to low budget films. McGrail started his first company, Dynamite Film Productions, while an undergraduate at Michigan State University in 2008. After graduating in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, McGrail recognized a need for innovative entrepreneurs in the film industry. He moved to Chicago and began working with DePaul University’s Digital Cinema Program, where he continued to study the industry and grow the developing Digital Cinema program. Since then, McGrail has supported several productions from both a business and management perspective, while simultaneously bringing a unique marketing and distribution perspective to his work. McGrail also works in the financial side of the business, securing funding for projects that advance and develop the Chicago film community.
