12 Years a slave….WOW. I loved it.

Steve McQueen has done a brilliant job on 12 years a slave, The cinematography is beautiful done, and the story is so true to life, and tells a gripping story.

But for me there was an issues where Steve McQueen builds up the emotion in certain scenes, but then drops it straight away, where as I felt he could really played with it and made the emoting stronger. Because it so true to the history it let me down in places and I wanted Solomon Northup to fight back (Kinda Like Django) but obviously this never happened.

Apart from this 12 years a slave is a brilliant film and worth a watch if you haven't already.
