A Night Spent In Male'.

Posted on at

So this was our first night in Maldives.

We booked a small hotel with the name Valeema Beach in Male’. The room was beach facing and  quite comfy. The staff was friendly. We just freshen our selves after a long flight and headed to a nice restaurant called Ravens. As Maldives is a Muslim country so we faced no difficulty in finding halal food. We went there by walk as it was just 3 streets away from our hotel and on our way we noticed a lot of girls riding scooter and really a peaceful environment.

Ravens offered all kind of foods starting from Chinese food to continental and Indian/Pakistani foods also. The place was crowded and had sitting arrangement inside and out. The weather was humid so most of the people preferred to dine in. Unluckily the only table vacant was outside so we decided to get our bumps on it. Weather was not hot but it was just airy and humid. We ordered some chicken kebabs and fried chicken with chips. It took almost an hour to be served and we both were dying from hunger. The taste was different but not as bad as we were expecting. It was an affordable restaurant and we paid in Maldivian Ruffiya where as we had an option to pay in US dollars.
It was a dark night. This place had no street lamps and the sound of waves hitting the shore were easily audible. Everything over there was so relaxing. After our dinner, we had a long beach walk. Over walk,  we talked about so many  different things about life. When we got tired, we ordered latte coffee from our hotel and had it by the sea shore on the long beach chairs. The beach was dark but the sound of waves were just incredibly relaxing. It was just a wonderful night. Deep down we both were waiting for our final destination which was, Kuredu Island Resort. We had our sea plane flight at 6 am so had to hit bed at 11pm to catch our next flight
